Masud works as a Biostatistician at CCI. He provides statistical support to ongoing clinical trials and research projects at the Centre. With 7+ years of experience in academia, Masud has the training and expertise for carrying out statistical analyses at CCI. He has hands-on experience in the traditional and advanced statistical methods – hierarchical/multilevel models, disease mapping, longitudinal analysis, survival analysis, and cost-effectiveness analysis – implemented in the statistical environment R following either classical or Bayesian philosophy of inference. Masud is a PhD candidate with a Biostatistics specialization at the University of Saskatchewan, where he worked as a Biostatistician for seven years before moving to CCI. His PhD research is focused on integrating spatial auto-correlation with measurement error in a Bayesian framework.
