TOMAHAWK Trial
Dr. Curtis Williams presented the TOMAHAWK Trial, which is a multicenter, randomized clinical trial comparing immediate coronary angiography to initial intensive care assessment with delayed or selective angiography among patients with successfully resuscitated out-of-hospital cardiac arrest of possible coronary origin and no evidence of ST-segment elevation on postresuscitation electrocardiography, looking at a primary outcome of death from any cause at 30 days. This article was published in NEJM this past August and presented at ESC.
