• Manage the finance administration, financial reporting, budget, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for CCI
• Responsible for the financial management of clinical trials, research grants and core lab services for research groups within CCI
• Advise principal investigators and staff on finance and human resources matters, resource allocation, and finance and HR policies and procedures
• Member of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia

Chrislena is the Finance and Administration Manager for Centre for Cardiovascular Innovation. She manages the finance administration, financial reporting, budget, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for CCI. She is responsible for the financial management of clinical trials, research grants and core lab services for research groups within CCI. She advises principal investigators and staff on finance and human resources matters, resource allocation, and finance and HR policies and procedures.

Chrislena has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Diploma in Accounting from UBC. She is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and has over 10 years of experiences in research finance and administration. She also has human resources experiences at both university and research institute.
