Prior to working at CCI-CIC, Denise obtained a Bachelor of Health Science at Thompson Rivers University where she was a Canadian Interuniversity Sport Academic All Canadian Student Athlete. Denise worked as a Cardiac Cath Lab, Computed Tomography and Pediatric Imaging Technologist at Vancouver General, St. Paul’s, and BC Children’s and Women’s Hospitals for several years where she obtained experience in a wide range of interventional and structural heart cases. Denise also worked as a Clinical Informatics Specialist on the CST project with BC Cancer where she articulated clinical requirements to transition work designs and developed clinical content strategies, frameworks, and workflows within the Electronic Health Record. Denise became a Consultant/Clinical Research Coordinator for CCI-CCI in 2022 and has worked on large international multi-site studies within Canada, the US, and Europe such as COMPLETE TAVR and has helped with grant funded studies such as DISCORDANCE TAVR. While working for CCI-CIC, Denise studied abroad and obtained a Master of Arts in International Management from SRH University in Berlin, Germany and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Griffith College in Dublin, Ireland.
