TTM2 Trial

Dr. Ian Pitcher presented the TTM2 Trial, which is an open-label trial with blinded assessment of outcomes comparing targeted hypothermia at 33°C, followed by controlled rewarming to targeted normothermia with early treatment of fever among patients with coma who had had an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest of presumed cardiac or unknown cause. This trial was published in NEJM in June of this year.
